Get Started

Learn how to configure settings for SCHMAYBE, such as your preffered RSVP response.

Installation

              
                1) Make a copy of the SCHMAYBE Sheet and Add-on  by clicking here and then refresh the Copy of SCHMAYBE [TEMPLATE] tab
            2) Click on Add-ons --> SCHMAYBE --> Authorize & then Activate
            3) Refresh the tab with the SCHMAYBE Google Sheet
            4) Update settings and rules on the SCHEDULE Tab (row 4 and below) & verify rules by clicking SCHMAYBE --> Validate Rules

Configuration

RSVP	Use Case
YES	When you're way too trusting of folks inviting you to meetings. Just say "yes" to everything.
NO	The only real use-case for this silly Calendar add-on. Instantly block invitations when you aren't available.
MAYBE	Sow confusion and distrust in your organization by never saying "yes" or "no" to invitations.

Available settings include a default RSVP response, how many days in the future to look for calendar invitations, and specific rules for date ranges.

Setting	Details
DEFAULT RSVP STATUS	Yes, no, or maybe. This is the automatic calendar invitation response folks will recieve after sending you an invitation.
DAYS IN THE FUTURE TO RSVP	This is set to 14 days by default. Extend it to respond to invitations further in the future.
RULES	Starting on row 4 you can add custom rules which will override your default RSVP STATUS. Make sure to double check your dates and times because it's possible to have conflicting rules. Isn't life more interesting with a little chaos?
